Handprint Turkeys
What you need:
Construction paper: Brown, Black,
Orange, Red, Yellow, White, etc.
Scissors
Glue
Craft Eyes
Instructions: Step 1: Trace your hands and feet (shoes on) on brown construction paper. You need to trace both feet and you need 8 hand prints for your turkey's feathers. Step 2: Glue the two feet tracings together to create your turkey's body and head. Make sure to put the tops of your shoe tracings together and the bottoms together. Spread the bottoms apart a little. Step 3: Create feet for your turkey with orange paper and cut a diamond shape for your turkey's beak. Cut out a turkey wattle out of red paper. Glue all of these cut outs onto your turkey's body. Don't forget to add the craft eyes also. Step 4: Glue your paper hand cutouts behind the turkey's body to make his tail. Leave 2 hand prints out for your turkey's wings and glue them to the side of your turkey. |
