Fall Leaf Print
What you need:
Fall Leaves
Paint (Orange, red, brown, gold, etc.)
Black Construction Paper
Instructions: Step 1: Lay your leaves down on newspaper or protective covering. Step 2. Lightly paint the "face-up" side of each leaf with a different color. Step 3. Arrange leaves in a pattern that is a little smaller than the size of your construction paper. Step 4: Gently press your paper on top of the leaves to obtain your leaf prints. Step 5: Your leaf print can be covered with contact paper to create a placemat. |
Gift Idea
Leave a little
space blank on your construction paper at the bottom or top.
Using a separate
piece of paper cut in the shape of a rectangle (the same size as
your blank space), write
a poem, story, thank you note, etc. to someone special. Sign your
name and date it.
Add a little glue to the back of your rectangle and add to your
leaf press picture. Cover
with clear contact paper and give as a gift to someone special!
