Delicious!!!!!!!!!!!

O.K. Let's review what we have discovered so far.

Christmas Clues Notebook

1. We know that the baby will be
born in a manger.

2. A prophet of God named Isaiah predicted the
miracle birth of this baby long before the
baby was actually born.

Let's continue exploring and see if we can find the second clue. Hey there's someone who might can help us.

Hello. My name is Gabriel and I am one of God's angels. A long time has passed since God spoke to Isaiah. God has asked me to go to Nazareth and talk to a young virgin named Mary.

God sent the angel Gabriel to a virgin who lived in Nazareth, a town in Galilee. She was engaged to marry a man named Joseph from the family of David. Her name was Mary. The angel came to her and said, "Greetings! The Lord has blessed you and is with you."

But Mary was confused by what the angel said. Mary wondered, "What does this mean?"

The angel said to her, "Don't be afraid, Mary, because God is pleased with you. Listen! You will become pregnant. You will give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be great, and people will call him the Son of the Most High. The Lord God, will give him the throne of King David, his ancestor. He will rule over the people of Jacob forever. His kingdom will never end." Luke 1: 26-33

Mary said to the angel, "How will this happen? I am a virgin!"

The angel said to Mary, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you. The baby will be holy. He will be called the Son of God.

Mary said, "I am the servant girl of the Lord. Let this happen to me as you say!" Then the angel went away." Luke 1: 34-35 and Luke 1:38

All of this happened to fulfill the prophecy of Isaiah many, many years earlier!

Cool! God told Isaiah what would happen and right before OUR eyes, this miracle is about to take place. (Remember, we traveled back around 2,000 years in time.)

We now know that God sent an angel named Gabriel to talk to a young virgin named Mary. Gabriel told Mary that SHE would be the mother of the Son of the Most High! WOW! Can you imagine how Mary must have felt?

Now it's time to continue on our journey. We must answer the following question successfully in order to pass through the gate!

The name of the angel who told Mary that she would be the Mother of the Son of the Most High was named:
